AI Data Center Regulations

AI Policy for transparency and accountability.

• Enact Moratorium on all data centers with power demand of 500 kW or more, until legislation is enacted.

• Prohibition on Nondisclosure Agreements.

• Required prior to Approval / Construction: protect water resource for residents.

• Continual Public Reporting Requirements: energy consumption, power utilization, temperature set points, waste heat utilization, water usage and use of renewable energy and security reporting.

• Protection for ratepayers by requiring data center responsibility for increased rates.

• Require bonding – don’ leave taxpayers on the hook for abandoned projects and return the land to it’s previous condition.

• Ensure data privacy & consequences for the harm of deepfakes where fines are greater than profits.

• Require a “human in the loop” for AI decisions affecting the lives of humans.

• Require Local community approval.

• Prevent mass surveillance.
